•Jabil.
In February 2011, the company announced the inauguration of its third plant in Jalisco, with a 7 million dollar investment and the creation of 250 new jobs. This plant will manufacture electronic circuit components.
•Samsung.
In May 2011 the company announced the expansion of its Tijuana plant, representing a 70 million dollar investment and the creation of close to 1000 jobs. The plant?s goal is to manufacture 12 million products, mainly flat screen televisions with the latest technology, such as the Smart TV.
