Fisterra Energy
The Spanish company, subsidiary of Blackstone Energy Partners acquired and financed the construction of two wind farms of a total of 252 megawatts (MW) located in the state of Nuevo León named "Ventika". By its capacity, this is one of the main projects of wind farms in Mexico jointly developed with CEMEX, which required an investment of 650 million dollars. Construction of the project generated approximately 1,000 jobs and more than 2,000 additional jobs in related industries.

Enel Green
Power (EGP)
The Italian company started the construction of the "Vientos del Altiplano" wind farm at Mazapil and Villa de Cos, Zacatecas on July 2015. Once fully operational, "Vientos del Altiplano" will comprise 50 turbines of 2 MW each for a total installed capacity of 100 MW that will allow to generate more than 280 GWh each year. EGP will be investing a total of approximately 220 million dollars in the construction of the project.

Moreover, on October 2015 EGP started the construction of the "Palo Alto" wind farm at Ojuelos, Jalisco. The facility will have 43 turbines of 3 MW each for a total installed capacity of 129 MW. Once fully operational, the wind farm will be able to generate more than 350 GWh per year. The investment is estimated on 250 million dollars.

OCI Solar Power
The subsidiary of the Korean group OCI Corp. and the Buenavista Renewables Group, together with the Mexican Government, made a 40 million dollar private-private investment to build the solar park "Los Santos Solar I" at Moctezuma, Chihuahua. The park's capacity will be of 13.6 MW and will start with the setup of 52,000 photovoltaic modules.
